Have you always wanted to participate in our annual thinkAbout event but never been able to join us? Have you been intrigued with what actually unfolds during the two-day learning extravaganza? If this describes you, then we encourage you to make this year the year you come for our 13th thinkAbout to be held September 29 + 30 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Why so? Well, this is the very last year for you to come and qualify for future events, for after this year, we will only send formal invitations to thinkAbout alumni. (Please see the FAQ page for more details) So this is indeed the year for you to come, join the experiential forum, and ensure that you continue to receive our direct invitation in future years.
Now, some brief history about thinkAbout . . . .
In 1998, just before publication of our bestselling book The Experience Economy: Work Is Theatre & Every Business a Stage, we envisioned an event that would bring together like-minded individuals seeking to design and stage unique and memorable experiences. Our vision included staging this event in ways that would demonstrate the very principles we espouse.
After hosting thinkAbout for a dozen years, we have unquestionably created the place for exploring experience-staging excellence among experience-staging professionals across a wide spectrum of businesses and industries. The event has grown into something of an annual pilgrimage for many acting as change agents within their organizations to foster fresh new thinking and practical applications for creating customer-unique value.
We invite you to come, get connected, and renew your personal and professional commitment to offering engaging experiences.
At each and every thinkAbout, we design an event like no other. (Many participants learn as much from our demonstrating various group-dynamics techniques as they do from the outcomes flowing from the use of these techniques!) True to itself, our 2010 gathering – which we dub thinkAbout Café – is no different. At this year’s event, we will adapt the principles of “The World Café” to facilitate a series of “conversation cafés” as a learning excursion into the thoughts and actions of your fellow participants. Do read more in the enclosed café menu.
If you are among those who recognize the importance of experiences to their enterprise, and constantly prowl for new ways to create value in an increasingly challenging marketplace, you belong with us at thinkAbout.
Do join us.
