Batting Practice: thinkAbout 101 &
Pre-event Orioles game (September 12)

Come mingle at a Camden Yards reception and then take in the Red Sox-Orioles ballgame! First-timers and interested alumni are also welcome to participate in an earlier thinkAbout 101 session aimed at ensuring all participants understand the key principles articulated in The Experience Economy. In addition, two thinkAbout alumni share their thoughts on how to get the most out of the upcoming two days.

Day One AM & PM: Learning ExcursionEM (September 13)

In most years, we’ve slotted outside talent during the morning of Day One, followed by an afternoon Learning ExcursionEM. This year, we’re commingling our AM and PM sessions to yield our first-ever all-day Walk-the-Talk tour. We’ll place our lineup of talent in specially chosen spots along the way, with time devoted to pause, ponder, and participate with each expert. You’ll also encounter a number of unique twists and turns along the way – capped off by a most Baltimorean
dining experience.

Day Two AM: Discussion & Debrief (September 14)
This Talk-the-Walk debrief affords an opportunity to revisit and distill lessons learned from Day One, allowing for multiple rounds of discussions with fellow participants and hosts Pine & Gilmore. Come prepared to open your mind through Open Space. And as with the game of baseball, foul balls are in play as you are encouraged to think outside the lines.

Day Two PM: Top Ten with EXPY & EMA awards (September 14)

Pine & Gilmore present their annual Top Ten experiences that participants should take in during the coming year, with the #1 experience receiving the Experience Stager of the Year (EXPY) award. In addition, the alumnus whom they perceive as having done the most to advance experience excellence in their business or with a client receives the Experience Management Achievement (EMA) award.

Extra Innings: Optional Post-event softball game (September 14)
Join in on an informal post-event softball game (with Pine vs. Gilmore teams). Play, cheer, or just chat. Alumni tell us that some of the best learning comes from debriefing the Debrief and mulling over the Top Ten.
