The Learning EncounterEM from Strategic Horizons employs interactive presentations, facilitated question/answer sessions, exemplar videos, customized case studies, and role-playing to create an engaging - and challenging - educational experience. Over the course of two very intense days, Pine & Gilmore work side-by-side with the client to remove barriers to learning, inculcate client culture with a new worldview centered around staging experiences, and impart a process for developing creative ideas based on this new reality. The flexible approach is active vs. passive, two-way vs. one-way, and customized with on-site and on-demand learning that occurs during the session itself. It focuses on providing management teams with new methods by which they approach their work, and provoking new thinking that will impact all future activities.
To prepare for this intensive two-day event, Joe Pine and/or Jim Gilmore typically interview key executives in advance to gain background on the company, its people, and the issues it faces. They both review the results of these interviews along with marketing materials, project documents, and strategic plans to design the Encounter content. The "runplan" for the two-day event is then reviewed in advance with the primary client contact and modified or adjusted as needed.
The Strategic Horizons Learning EncounterEM ...a most powerful offering for companies ready to fully embrace the opportunities and challenges of the Experience Economy. Only for those dedicated to realizing the full potential of their business and management team. A maximum of twenty-five people is recommended for participation in each Encounter.
